Kind of an off-topic post, but what mask do you recommend to protect yourself against pollution and exhaust when sitting in traffic on a motorbike in a city like HCMC or Hanoi?

I've tried the ones that have bendable metal that go around the bridge of your nose. They still leak in a lot of exhaust and they fog up my eyeglasses like crazy. SurgicalMore masks are useless for me. I still get a sore throat when sitting in traffic.

I'm thinking that the only mask that will work is one with a silicone skirt and with valves for inhaling and exhaling. The silicone will be hot and sweaty, but at least it will guarantee a real seal and filtered air. The cloth masks still get somewhat hot, *and* they don't work for filtering exhaust fumes, so to me they're pointless.

Has anyone travelled north on QL14C in Daknong from Dak Mil town, next to the Cambodian border, through Daklak to the border with Gia Lai province (as pictured)?

Not keen to travel into Gia Lai with the covidMore situation there at the moment, so planning to take a side road south east from there and stop at a local cham tower before resting in Ea Sup and then passing by Ho Ea Sup Ha and Ho Ea Sup Thuong before returning home to Buon Ma Thuot.

Hi Everyone, hoping someone could give me some info on what looks like a small road/ trail that runs from just north of Nam Cat Tien off DT725 and ends up near Dam Bri falls, Bao Loc. The road seems to be under Da Pal and Google maps would have you believe its part dirt road and part paved. Was wondering if anyone had been up there, what type of bike would be needed in the dry season and if it was generally worth it as an alternative to going further up and around on DT725?

MEKONG/TET HOLIDAY

Hi everyone! I did a quick search but didn't see any info.

Has anyone done a motorbike trip around the Mekong during tet? Not looking to do any tourist attractions or socialize. Just want to get out of the city and drive. Any places to avoid during this time? Recommendations?

TIA!

Can I get some recommendations for cell phone mounts that attach to side mirrors?

I currently have the one pictured and it has been great and very very secure, but the front-to-back spacing in the clamp does not allow for thicker phones that have a case.

Simon Lee is feeling exhausted.

Even fun on a HONDA CUB 50cc with all my gear you can still explore some interesting roads. Makes it even more fun when winds are blowing 25knts and more.😄I need a little rest after the sea cliff route.
