PC and Xbox fixes are going live today for Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. PS4 fixes coming soon!
Xbox fixed issues:
- Sound of Rookie's breath remains during the cutscene
- Empty spaces are observed… More on PKE meter
- Controller disconnection pop-up does not appear if it's disconnected in any pause menu submenu
- Venkman's chair doesn't have collision
- Title softlocked and terminated after several constrains
- Cutscene is freezing after User returns from suspend mode
- Title softlocked on a cutscene with Sargassi in Hotel Sedgewick
- Main menu flickers when returning to title after "connected standby" mode
- Too long loading time observed during the game
- Proton Pack type selector… More
PS4 fixes are live for Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. Nintendo Switch fixes are also in the works, coming soon.
PS4 fixed issues:
- Improved video playback
- Fixed crash in lost island level
- Fixed… More softlock issues
- Fixed missing collision on chair in firehouse
- Fixed PKE screen not filling entire screen
- Fixed sound of rookie's breath remaining in cutscene
- Fixed main menu music disappearing if user goes to PS4 dashboard and then back.
- Fixed proton pack selector visible within cutscenes
- Minor bug fixes
Ok, so the Remaster of Ghostbusters: The Video Game is exciting news, but please remember this is a new dev who have bought the source material from Atari to make a remaster for the current gen consoles, it’s unclear how much of the assets they have, certainly seems enough for the single player experience from official material.
This is Saber… More Interactive developing and published by Mad Dog Games, it’s not Terminal Reality and Atari, so their impact on the previous PS3/Xbox360 version is unlikely.
Given they’ll want to push sales of the remaster, they’re unlikely to put resources to the previous game, if they could, which they probably aren’t able to.
