Real talk white folk, this is about exerting control and thats ok. It is a common coping method for survivors of trauma. It's an understandable and even necessary step in the healing process. Right or wrong, rational or emotional it's where folks are at with this.

I struggle with wanting to call out things i don't agree with too but for now its probably best to hold back our opinions and practice good listening skills.
