So for the first time tonight I turned on the television to see what was happening in the election, and after finding out that Trump was ahead with a strong chance of winning I changed over to MSNBC just to see what the temperament was like.
While listening to the audible gasps from Brian Williams and Rachel Maddow, over Trump's apparent thumping of the communist, I heard them report that Chuck Chumer would be reelected to the Senate from New York and that, although he would be the minority, he would be the strongest Democrat in the Senate and that he would be great at using the filibuster and other legitimate parliamentary procedures to stop the republican majority.
Funny. I don't seem to remember that sentiment when Cruz was using the same procedures. I wonder if Chuck will be accused of shutting the government down.
