I am the father of three children.

All three will have been raised knowing only a National Government involved in perpetual war and advocating for more.

All three will be expected to support this National Government's insatiable appetite for empire under the guise of national security.

All three will be forced to give even more of the fruits of their labor in order to pay for the destruction of their own liberty.

All three will have been raised in a state that, like the rest, is no longer a State, but a county.

They will have been raised in a state that, like the rest, is no longer sovereign and independent, but utterly and completely dependent.

My children will be raised with only one National Constitution and one National Bill of Rights, with a state constitution and a state Bill of Rights that have no meaning.

Residents of the County of Texas, indoctrinated in nationalism, will try and convince my children that acceptance of the tyranny perpetrated by this National Government is somehow patriotic.

My children will only know freedom of religion, assembly, and speech, as issues for their national overlords to dictate.

Chances are they will never know property rights.

But if I have done my duty as their father correctly, they will be protected. They will know salvation and they will know the truth. They will understand liberty and the value of life. They will see the historical cycles of decline and allow the lamp of history to guide them.

And I will do my duty because I love them as the Father loves me. Failure is not an option.
