When faced with two candidates of low character, you vote based on which one will deliver the policy outcomes you prefer. That should be obvious. And you keep in mind that politics is a team sport. Who else will be in the White House, leading the Justice Department, Treasury, Defense, the FBI, the CIA, etc, matters.
That Bill Clinton raped many women and slept with hundreds while in office didn't have much effect on what he accomplished, for better and worse. That Donald Trump made disgusting comments about groping a woman won't either.
That Hillary Clinton destroyed the Middle East, wants to admit half a million Syrians, corrupted the FBI and gave away significant important classified information by using a private server, in order to hide the fact that she was taking huge bribes from foreign powers while holding office of Secretary of State...that has a huge effect on the future of the nation.
I won't defend Trump. Few of the men I know well talk that way. But it is nothing compared to the crimes of state, and the sheer destruction I expect from Clinton.
And I am entirely unimpressed by GOP Congressmen and Senators who need to join the chorus of condemnation.
