According to a new report released by Dr. Neta Crawford, professor of political science at Brown University, spending by the United States Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Veteran Affairs since 9/11 is now close to $5 trillion USD. GOOD LORD THAT'S A LOTTA MONEY!!!

So what has all this spending achieved? Well, since 2002 global terrorism has increased by 6500%. But wasn't spending all that money supposed to make us safer? Not really. And thanks to foriegn political interests [$$$] we're not exactly making any reasonable efforts to improve the situation. Heck, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton herself refused repeated requests from the CIA to place Boko Haram and ISIS-linked African terror groups wreaking havoc across Nigeria on the U.S. official list of foreign terrorist organizations because it might upset Clinton Foundation donors overseas. Statistically speaking, these groups are actually worse than ISIS but they exist in Nigeria where Hillary has business interests so she doesn't want to muddy the waters, so to speak.

And unfortunately our current strategy is only making things worse. Last year, four former U.S. air force service members wrote a letter to Barack Obama warning him that the single most effective recruitment tool for groups like ISIS was the drone program being implemented across the Muslim world, courtesy of the President himself, Mr Nobel Peace Prize. In fact, three former U.S. air force drone operators have even backed a lawsuit against the state, brought by a Yemeni man who lost members of his family in a drone strike in 2012.

To anyone who says drone strikes are a safer alternative to other forms of combat, consider this: the civilian casualty rate of drone strikes is 35 times than that of manned aircrafts. And every time we blow up the wrong building with a predator drone we're just creating more orphans who grow up to be the next caliphate commanders of future Islamic-extremist groups that are yet to be created.

Meanwhile our own soldiers are coming home to be treated in dysfunctional VA hospitals where they face a suicide epidemic of 22 dead vets a day. So far the Federal gov't has offered little to no solutions.

And the media's just as bad. America's lame-stream media actually avoids talking about the many foriegn military occupations that we're currently involved in for reasons unknown to yours truly. Maybe it's just bad for ratings or perhaps they're being asked to stay silent but regardless of the reasoning it remains clear: you'll see more news about what Donald Trump said today than you ever will about what happened in Iraq/Syria/Libya/Yemen/Afghanistan/Pakistan this morning.

We've been at war for over 15 years and we have nothing to show for it. Sad, huh?
