As you know, my brother, Danny passed away yesterday. He's always been such a trooper, surving everything life threw at him, and we kinda expect he would get through this time as well. He had been in and out of the hospital for the past six months with kidney related issues. His ankles would swell up and it would affect his mental state. But he had just come home and was doing great, his ankles looked completely normal. We found him the next morning. They ruled it "natural causes" without an autopsy, but speculated it was a heart attack. I think it happened very suddenly, since he fell from a standing position, but from the position of his arms, he probably wasn't conscious when he hit the ground.
I know many of you would like to come, but can't, and we completely understand. There will be plenty of attendees, so don't feel like you just have to come.
There will be a public VIEWING on Friday the 20th from 4 pm to 8 pm at Schmidt Funeral Home, 1508 East Avenue in Katy, Texas, and then a public MEMORIAL SERVICE on Saturday the 21st at 1 pm at the Katy church of Christ, 5458 East 5th Street, Katy, Texas.
