Well I died tonight in the cage.... I'm okay. Thanks everyone. I'll reply when I can. My heart stopped for five minutes , they did cpr and hit me with the defibrillator twice and brought me back. I had a hard weight cut. Doc says I shouldn't fight again.... I'm broken , I guess I'll just be a coach from now on.... I still plan on competing in Brazilian Jiu jitsu and BJJ superfights , when I get better. Thanks to everyone that supported me!

My talented 18 yr old son Ryan died at his karate studio after his heart stopped. Unfortunately, they had no way to revive him & the shock paddles came too late. His autopsy showed only caffeine in his system. His heart stopped from dehydration. This is a serious problem among athletes. A portable, charged shock machine nearby is the difference between life and death.
