Archaeologists have discovered a gold mask in a 1,000-year-old tomb in Kangping County, northeast China's Liaoning Province. The mask is decorated with the vivid facial characteristics of a young man. It is one of the three gold masks discovered so far in the Liao Dynasty tombs. What is worth mentioning is that a partial gold mask was also found last month at a Sanxingdui Ruins site in Sichuan Province. #Unearthed
