Five years ago today was the last increase of the federal minimum wage to $7.25. Since this time 19 states, not including Pennsylvania, have increased their minimum wages above the federal level. The Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2013, aims to increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour. As a cosponsor of this legislation, I stand with 195 other representatives on the side of hard-working Americans. It's time to #RaiseTheWage!
