Black Lives Matter Minneapolis - "we think long and hard before posting pictures of that nature"

I would like to see that timeline of when you received that picture and when you posted it claiming it was a black man. My personal guess would be less than 5 mins.

BLM you really should have someone edit your comments...they tend to make you look bad when you post "far for the word fair" and when you insist that you were justified in spreading hateful unsubstantiated propaganda.... in the world we live in, it would be wonderful to see a bit more integrity! But, it seems in the ethics of what you're promoting, you think the end justifies the means....

So he was inaccurately portrayed as an AA that had been lynched (as per info pulled up) yet he was a white man who hung himself. Do I have that correct? How did story get so screwed up and why show photos unless you were trying to incite and stir the racial pot?

Any responsible organization would verify the truth of a post (especially one as controversial racially as this one) prior to putting it out there to inflame the "community members".

Your organization does nothing but incite murders on the police that - yes - also protect you, riots, vandalism, and hate. If anyone is a racist, it is your organization. You purposely posted that to incite and no apology will make that go away. Your organization should be under Secret Service and other organizations and National Terrorism.

How about this instead: "We apologize to all the people we offended and misled by not first investigating the circumstances of this horrible event. We especially apologize to the Bringle family and those who knew him for inflicting un-necessary emotional pain." That's a real apology. Saying "if anyone was offended" is not an apology.

Your organization is apalling in all regards. You set out to be deflamatory and agitate. Your apolgy is not accepted! Your organiaztion does not deserve respect. I blame you for all the policmen who have been massacared the last several years.

These are the types of things that cause your organization to continue to have no credibility. It's really unfortunate because I believe there is a place for you to have a positive impact on the community. It is a shame you don't have the foresight to make it happen in a positive and meaningfull way.

I see that someone posted an angry face emoji on a post that says 'all lives matter'. That's the kind of garbage that keeps our society headed in the direction that we're building up speed on as we head downhill to Hell. ALL lives DO matter. Lose someone you know and see how quickly you'll change your mind. However, and we all do it to a degree, we do choose sides and that's something that causes a lot of discord and grief because people listen to what we say whether it's the honest truth or not. People will follow someone just because they like the person and it normally has nothing to do with whether or not the original person is doing good will, ill toward others, know what they're talking about or anything else. You are taken as serious as a movement, as Jesse Jackson is taken serious as a preacher. OR, as serious as you take Trump as President. This is the problem nowadays. Far too often people are jumping to conclusions as soon as they see a little bit of early information. If peolpe had simply waited for more information to come out (such as the name of the person), this could have all been avoided. And the reaction when people called BLM out on this, ridiculous.

Yep, perfect example of how you guys jump on ANYTHING just to stir up racial unrest. You people have set equal rights back 50 yrs. You cannot gain acceptance by attacking people and you can't MAKE people respect you. I have found as a female that I gain respect from my fellow service members through working hard and being a part of the solution instead of part of the problem. I commend y'all for apologizing maybe the person that actually took the picture should have clarified instead of starting all the drama and chaos... It's not blm fault that the people who took the picture said he was black! They assumed he was upset about the matter. A lot of black people have been hung by nooses. Blm is an organization of PEOPLE! They make mistakes just like everyone else!
