In February, Q&A will be airing a special on #MeToo. They have invited Charles Waterstreet to speak on the panel, after Nina Funnell and New Matilda reported on allegations of sexual harassment towards younger female employees. By doing so, they are amplifying the voices of perpetrators to generate controversy and giving him the opportunity to justify his unacceptable behaviour.
This is unacceptable. As Women's Officer, I have written a letter to Q&A expressing my anger and concern. This letter contains descriptions of incidences of sexual harassment.
Please share this letter, sign the petition below, and tell the ABC that this is not acceptable!
Sign this petition to show ABC that we will not stand for the voices of survivors to be ignored, and to get Nina Funnell on the panel: https://t.co/q21v3tbI7H.

Sending love and solidarity ❤❤ [red hearts]
As the 2021 BIPOC Department Exec, we know that there is racism at ANU. What we don't know is exactly what's happening, when it happens, who is doing it and how it is being done.
For this reason we are sending out the first annual ANUSA BIPOC Department Racism Survey.
If you have seen, heard or experienced anything you deem to be rooted in racism, please fill out the anonymous link below.

No incident is too small or insignificant to be included. It is so important that we know exactly what is going on so that we can advocate for you to make positive change. We only know the incidents that are told to us. If you have reported something, to your hall, sr, school, college or club, please feel free to report it to us too. If it made you uncomfortable and you have an inkling that it could even possibly be racism, please let us know regardless. We are accepting any incidents that may have happened at ANU, this could be this year or earlier.
If the form doesn't work for you, please email sa.ethnocultural@anu.edu.au, attend one of our meetings or DM our social media pages.
Lots of love,
The BIPOC Dept Exec
