At USPCN Chicago Presents: Wishah Popular Dance Troupe event last week, we honored the fallen elders and activists from the Arab Community Center (which is now the Arab American Action Network) that was established in the South Side of Chicago in the 1970's. They were the backbone of community organizing, and have laid out a foundation for the new generation to continue organizing until liberation and return! Here is the video we played at the show:
