"My friends were always men. I’ve worked in the tech and science fields my whole life, and because of that, I was always surrounded by men. Only 15 years ago I started to surround myself with a group of strong women, and It was a revelation for me. My work on women empowerment evolved from the need I feel to protect women who are like me. U.S. Embassy Jerusalem supports the Global Entrepreneurship Week events which my organization runs each November. One of the conferences we hold during this week focuses on entrepreneurship challenges. In this conference we have 6 female entrepreneurs on stage, talking about entrepreneurship challenges to a young audience. Having strong women discussing this topic on stage sends a powerful message. It makes the young girls and boys in the crowd understand that successful women entrepreneurs have a lot of power in their hands. What is my aspiration?
