Trafford Athletic Club (previously Stretford Athletic Club) was founded by a group of enthusiasts a year after the completion of the Longford Park Stadium in 1964.
During its relatively short history the club has become one of the top UK clubs with over 100 athlete members having competed at international level and a number at major events including the Commonwealth games, European championships, World championships or the Olympics.
We cater for all events with a minimum age of 9.
Our club nights are Mondays and Thursdays.
9 & 10 year-olds attend sessions from 6 - 7 pm, whilst the sessions for athletes over this age are from 7 - 8.30 pm.
Just come along at those times and speak to the person at reception. They will introduce you to a coach who will look after you.
