The Little Free Pantry applies the Little Free Library® concept to activate neighbor engagement with food insecurity.
Individuals or groups (stewards) provide structures at their site of choice and coordinate supply. Open all the time, no questions asked, mini pantries fill emergency food service gaps AND nourish neighborhoods.
You can become a part of the work of the mini pantry movement in four ways.
1. Purchase items when grocery shopping, find a location, and place items inside. The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act protects donors and non-profit distributors of food.
2. Start your own!
3. Visit https://pantrygift.org/ and give to a mini pantry steward campaign.
4. Tell folks about us!
