The reason Texans will likely never have a sitting governor, or a majority of the State legislature, take a serious position of defiance against federal overreach is because, by and large, they are nationalized. Most truly believe that the SCOTUS is the final arbiter of everything, everywhere, all the time, and that anything -- anything -- a member of the federal leviathan says is "supreme" to the wishes of the citizens of a State.
That is a big reason why I am running for the U.S. Senate (2020). I know that one person in this office with the right message can do much to divest unconstitutional powers away from this already out of control and too large government and back to the States where they belong.
Secession is not a bad option, people. In all seriousness, it’s probably the best option. We are too large, the Constitution has been dead for a long time, and there is far too much power held by just a few people. Maybe it’s time to have an adult conversation about divesting power and leaving each other alone.
Early election totals:
Biden wins China with 92%
Dan Crenshaw clearly states on his radio ad that he wants unconstitutional federal involvement in the economy, healthcare, education, and more, which any run of the mill big government loving Democrat would agree with, but according to Dan, the blue team wants socialism. The guy is as clueless the clueless who idolize him. This is today’s Republican Party. #WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot
