The 2nd Amendment specifically restricts any member of the federal government, including a POTUS, from infringing on the people's right to bear arms. Any and all federal gun laws are illegal.
Managing how the right to bear arms is protected is a matter for the citizens in each State, and not for an all-powerful national overlord.

Secession is not a bad option, people. In all seriousness, it’s probably the best option. We are too large, the Constitution has been dead for a long time, and there is far too much power held by just a few people. Maybe it’s time to have an adult conversation about divesting power and leaving each other alone.
