If it is established that the shooter in Florida is a mentally ill individual and not a national threat, the federal government should quickly back away from its involvement and leave the issue to the citizens of Florida to manage as they see fit.
Secession is not a bad option, people. In all seriousness, it’s probably the best option. We are too large, the Constitution has been dead for a long time, and there is far too much power held by just a few people. Maybe it’s time to have an adult conversation about divesting power and leaving each other alone.
