Reading through some of the names offered on social media as possible replacements for John Cornyn if he had been appointed to head the DOJ, I was amazed that some of those suggested were non-Texans. The ones putting those names out there obviously have no understanding of the purpose of the office, much less the absolute loyalty to this State that it requires.

Secession is not a bad option, people. In all seriousness, it’s probably the best option. We are too large, the Constitution has been dead for a long time, and there is far too much power held by just a few people. Maybe it’s time to have an adult conversation about divesting power and leaving each other alone.
