“THE PITTSBURGH STEIN SOCIETY”
The Pittsburgh Stein Society is holding its next meeting at Noon on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Ratskeller of the Teutonia Mannerchor club.
All are welcome.
Our guest speakers for this meeting will be John Hataloski and Keith Uglow. Both gentlemen are experts on the subject of Aldolf Diesinger antique beer steins.
The meeting is FREE and open to all who wish to attend.
LUNCH – A Hot German Sandwich Platter with German Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, etc. will be available at a price of $10/person and will be FREE to all current Pittsburgh Stein Society members as well as any guest who joins our club on or before the meeting date. Membership dues are $10 for a 1 year membership and $25 for a 3 year membership. All checks can be made out to the Pittsburgh Stein Society and given to Chuck or Erin at the bar or to Rich Hahn or Bill Boss at the club.
FREE APPRAISALS – There will be knowledge experts on antique German beer steins available to give appraisals, so bring 1 or 2 or more of your steins that you would like to have appraised.
STEINS FOR SALE – There will be antique German beer steins for sale at extremely reasonable prices. Available will be Regimental, Character, Mettlach, Brewery, Military, Stoneware, Porcelain, Westerwald, and many others. Stein sales tables setup will start at 11:30 am

Due to an unexpected water issue, Teutonia Männerchor will be closed today, Saturday, April 17.
Join us every Saturday for a German class and you’ll be Speaking German before you know it! This week Florian Weisel and his family will take on a tour “in und um das Haus und Büro” (in and around the house and office).
We will talk about things we use every day and there will be a focus on how to ask for things. Participation in the conversation portion of this is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.
Classes are free for members and their accompanying guests. We hope to see you Saturday at 10:30 in the Sängerhalle!
