About Stoccata School of Defence
The Stoccata School of Defence was founded in 1998 to teach historical forms of fencing that are documented in surviving fencing manuals from 1300 onwards. The school has made major contributions to our understanding of a number of historical weapons. The School's instructors have taught all around the world and have authored a number of historical fencing books. Stoccata currently has branches in NSW and Tasmania.
