Today, SCR experienced the violent and totalitarian behavior of the unhinged Stanford left. During a 'Change My Mind' tabling event regarding the presumption of innocence and the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation, SCR's President was assaulted by Melinda Hernandez. A sophomore at Stanford, Hernandez approached our President, hit him in chest and forcefully pushed him back. (Hernandez is shown in the striped top below).
Our President is pressing full charges against Hernandez. Violence is completely unacceptable, and we will not allow anyone to get away with it.

Senator Ted Cruz is not only an exceptionally principled conservative, but he is also a shrewd political strategist. Republicans must fight to stop Joe Biden's inevitable effort to re-enter the disastrous Iran nuclear deal and the Paris Climate Accords, both of which put the interests of American enemies first and America last. However, as Cruz notes, if President Trump were to put both deals before the Republican Senate as treaties, where they both would be voted down, Joe Biden's effort to re-enter these deals would be hampered and undermined. On January 20, Joe Biden will in all likelihood enter the White House as an illegitimate President, and he must be treated as such. Republicans must take a scorched earth approach to undermining every aspect of Joe Biden's policy agenda, and once again, Ted Cruz is leading the way in forging the bold conservative path to do so.

For the leftists who wish to force every American to bankroll their abortion genocide, Obamacare seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. A new report by researchers from the Family Research Council, Charlotte Lozier Institute, and Heritage Foundation, shows that Obamacare plans cover elective abortions in several states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, and Washington D.C. As the article states, the Charlotte Lozier Institute’s President, Chuck Donovan, says that federal funding of elective abortions clearly violates the Hyde Amendment. Every pro-life American should be disgusted with this new finding, as our tax dollars are going to fund the murder of innocent and unborn children. Republicans must never give up on the fight to repeal Obamacare.

We would like to thank Senators Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, Marsha Blackburn, Rick Scott, and the 50 House Republicans who voted against the abominable multi trillion dollar coronavirus "relief package." This bill will accomplish nothing other than heaping more debt on future generations of Americans, while providing billions of dollars in wasteful foreign aid, which will allow countries that despise America to keep taking advantage of our own idiocy. As Senator Ron Johnson highlighted last week, the government will indiscriminately send direct payments to millions of Americans, the majority of whom will neither need it nor use it for the intended purposes.
As Rand Paul dutifully notes, simply handing out free money to people and states will only incentivize blue states to prolong the lockdowns, which are the cause of the economic devastation in the first place. Once again, the answer is to get the government out of the way, and let the American people make their own choices. We urge President Trump to veto this horrendous legislation.
