Sligo Kayak Club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of kayaker Paddy McCarrick who passed away last night following an incident near Aughris Head yesterday. We would also like to pass on our regards to his fellow kayakers who were involved last night, many of whom would be known to SKC. Finally we would like to thank the members of the Coast Guard and RNLI for their responsiveness and efforts in dealing with yesterday's incident.
