It's quite amazing what Sesame Street has been able to do in half a century. With an hour of television, they've been able to teach several generations of children the basics of ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes, mathematics, friendships, dealing with emotions, understanding differences...so many things.

A very sincere and heartfelt Thank You goes to the late Jim Henson, the Henson family, the Muppets themselves, the producers, directors, writers, actors and muppeteers, and everyone else who make all this possible. You bring joy to learning…and fond memories for us older kids. ☺️

Ok, so as someone who watches way too much Sesame Street thanks to my obsessed toddler, I'm losing my mind trying to identify all of these arms.
Red: Telly(maybe? Or maybe Louie?) and obviously Elmo
Orange: Ernie and Murray
Yellow: Big Bird and Bert
Green: Rosita and Oscar
Blue: Cookie Monster and Grover
Purple: ??? I don't think Abby is that furry. Couldn't they have just thrown in Count VonCount or something? Who are these purple arms? Is one of them maybe Basma?

Bert and Ernie should be holding hands.

Sesame Street taught me so much about love and acceptance when I was young. Thank you for continuing that for a whole new generation...I now watch with my kids and know they're learning such great lessons from these amazing characters.
