SALE makes a difference.
Even though the number of higher education graduates is now the highest in history, the unemployment rate among this target group has never been higher.
It is widely believed that only a few jobs for highly qualified candidates are available. However, in reality, a lot of job vacancies are available and most of them are posted on social networks. Moreover, in many cases the job description requires qualifications and skills in social media. It is interesting to note that there is often a mismatch between skills of candidates and the job requirements.
Human Resource managers are proactively searching online to find ideal employees. Now it is the responsibility of the higher education graduates to present their skills in an appealing way online and to gain the attention of employers.
Therefore, SALE aims at developing an interactive training course for unemployed higher education graduates. Participants will learn which tools are the most relevant to use in order to find a job online and how their individual skills need to be presented to be attractive for possible employers.
The main AIMS within the SALE project are the following:
* Developing an interactive social media training course for unemployed higher education graduates in order to promote their skills on online platforms in an appealing way
* Matching vacant job positions with the right higher education graduates
* Decreasing the current number of unemployed higher education graduates in all participating countries.
Further, within the SALE project there are five key outputs which are the following:
* Training Needs and GAP Analysis
* Training Curriculum
* SALE Interactive Training Development for * Unemployed Higher Education Graduates
* SALE Piloting Test
* Business and Sustainability Plan Including a * Long-Term Marketing Concept
