fuking blame ea sports 4 their half assed rugby world cup game. they sould have just given the licenses to a real developer like sidhe who made the effort to put together a great game. I think its awesome that sidhe will consistantly make rugby games and are faithful to the game of rugby

How about we trade Georgia and USA for the springboks. Not having the good teams licenses ruins the game.

Gameplay Is all that matters ! Played rugby league live 2 for the first time last night , absolutely horrible the fact that a play station 1 game is a lot better than a second generation game is just not cricket the same goes for rugby challenge ! Jonah lomu rugby had the running and passing physics spot in with no lag, why can't you?

Is there at least going to be international liscences for the 6 nations or teams like Canada, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Japan, Romania, etc. ?

I gave you a shot with the 1st game, enjoyed the 1st game, hoped for SA Franchises in the second, but then again I ended up disappointed. Sometimes I wonder how does the licensing system work. Because if I did, I would ran to SARU and beat the living sh#t out them until they give me a good reason why I should not stop hitting them in the face... oh and tell them why they did not gave licensing rights to Sidhe and TruBlue

@Michael. Yea bt I dnt get how the european clubs have been licensed, despite failure 2 land national license whereas the SA super rugby teams are not... Unless HB studios is planing on including super rugby in their sequel which is unlikely, I dnt understand y the SA super rugby teams have been omitted.

If they can put the surnames in the commentary but misspell the names then we can mod it correct :-)

as long as the place kicking, lineouts & scrums are completely re-done then I don't care who is licensed, people make patches with the proper squads/kits anyway...

Tis a bummer, but def still going to get it, ITM cup is the main reason for me, the more successful the game is the more likely the SARU will be keen to keen to provide the licenses in the future, need to look it at it logically

Pretty much most SA players were underated... Pat Lambie was prob the only player that almost gt a justifiable rating... Habana is without a doubt still one of the quickest players out there, bt his speed failed in comparison 2 the licensed wingers of NZ and Aus... Rate our players properly and m sure most of us will 4get the license issue.

and to everyone bashing on the SA fans for so badly wanting our licenses as well, don't be an idiot and realize that while you get to play with your favorite players we get to play with a random generic player... so don't bash on the SA fans but in that also the SA fans must realize that stupid rugby world cup nonsense game has cost us our team in this game... however the gameplay that is promised I am definitely going to be buying this game!

I am a South African and as disappointing this news is I am still going to buy this game without a doubt. Please try get them in the next game and also allow a better editor options available... Coz a different logo of the Sharks Stormers Kings Bulls Cheetahs and Lions would really be appreciated... coz last year u had a rhino etc... please just add an image that resembles even a totally different type of bull or whatever but can however make the game just that tad better for us SA supporters... Also to everyone complaining about this, last year a guy did all the squads,etc and posted it online... just take the time to look and it was well worth it!

One request, we get that u can't license our players, but pls don't underate them due 2 this... Vic Matfield was arguebly the best lock at the time of ur 1st game but was unjustifiably given a low rating... Bt yea, I will still buy

It's the same really for me as back in the day when rugby 08 was release (I think that's the version) I wanted to play as Northampton Saints (Aviva Premiership) but they where unlicensed at the time, didn't ruin the game for me but it being authentic just makes the experience more enjoyable. I'm deeply looking forward to the release of this game hoping minor gameplay issues are sorted from last one

Thanks. It's okay, the customisation is awesome and of course there's always the lovely modding. I played Rugby Challenge with all the official kits and names on pc.

Should have downloadable content so people can just patch and update the teams with the correct names, faces, jerseys etc.
