Rugby Challenge Official Game, is it possible for the game to be released earlier than 23rd September?

I do not think so.

I have read many a message on here with extremely harsh content directed at developers, then amazingly people trying to defend it! swearing is part of the English language but only tends to be used by those with a small vocabulary! Unable to use 'big words' to express themselves! Personally I am happy to wait for release of this game especially if it means we get a full game without bugs!! Come on england for saturday!!

Can't you order it from Australia, and play it in Europe? Or is it a different code or something?

Well I can wait for this game, hope it's as good as ive been led to beileve an I'll b happy mo matter wen it's out. Having played the rwc game it can't b any worse than that (essentially a very stripped bak rugby 08 re-release not a bad thing I stress coz gameplay in that was pretty good just seems more like a money making excersie rather than an attempt to improve the genre which is very dissappinting to mind)

Rugby Challenge Official Game never gave a release date and other parties did it for them.. like amazon for example. Now you're all upset, telling them you're canceling a copy of the game and that you'll go play something else... sad thing is, you're missing out. It's a great game! Just wish some of you would realize how childish you're sounding and that your beef is with the wrong party here.

@Shaun, you're kidding right? Have you ever worked in the gaming industry? Game slippages are constant and common, Gran Turismo 5, Duke Nukem Forever, Mass Effect 3, Max Payne 3, Lost Planet 2, Bioshock 2, Starcraft 2, Heavy Rain, Mafia 2, Red Dead but I doubt if you've ever been this intimately aware of it due to Rugby Challenge Official Game honesty regarding the release window. The only slippage for the UK that has ever been announced has been the change from Q3 to the current date

Stop whining. It'll be out when its out. Its not out tomorrow. Why get all wound up about it? Youve managed to get this far in life without it. a few more weeks wont hurt.
There are bigger things to worry about than passing blame for who set the release date and which retailers got it wrong. Dont believe any release date for anything unitl you hear it from the developers.
Be patient and grow up. the mods for this page have got better things to do with their time.

@Kris.....nowhere did I day all games were out on time, but most other game companies actually set a date.if it changes, so be it. This lot have done this before....rugby league live anyone. Also u say current date...what date? has it just been announced. Plus, pretty much ask the games u mentioned were not available in a certain area of the world while the rest get ignored. Yes there can be some variance but it is not like this. Nz, aus,sa...all got a date. We in europe/usa/canada have never been given that pleasure

Does this mean the uk version of rugby challenge will be better than the nz version?! Lol does make me laugh though that when i went into game last week they got out their folder of release dates and had it coming out tomorrow

Don't want to harp on but it's really silly to think that you guys didn't make it a priority to have it release before the world cup in Europe, from a marketing point of view it makes life easier. I know you say the game is not a world cup game.... But alittle honesty wouldn't hurt. You guys know you got it wrong

NZ have to wait for all movies and videogames created in the rest of the world, so now it's time for you to wait for something created in NZ...

Release the game just before Rugby World Cup start would be a good idea and good marketing stunt...So...A chance that Rugby Wolrd Cup 2011 doesn't seems good...UK/Ireland/Wales, and France ? Don't forget we will fight again NZ during the 1st round...no release...OK we will crush the All Blacks ! HiHiHi

Think about how long new Zealand have waited for the Webb Ellis cup, I think I can wait a few more weeks to get rugby challenge :)

@ Shaun, so by your logic it's better to set a date and not actually stick to it rather then not announce a date until it's actually confirmed? And you mention games getting released earlier in other territories first, entire consoles have been released in other territories months before NZ/Aus, it happens on a regular basis, plus games like Star Wars: The Old Republic are delayed down here, pr we get games like Catherine that don't get official releases at all. You have your release window, if you wanted the game that badly do what we down under have to do countless times, import it

Guys they have to get in out in NZ first to capitalise on the AB's still being in the world cup. Nothing like crashing out of your party early but still having to host the entertainment.
