Missing a goat?
Imagine our dispatcher's surprise when she received a couple of calls early this morning advising there was a goat roaming around Wolf Den Plaza... more specifically, the goat apparently needed a caffeine fix and had wandered INTO the Wolf Den Starbucks.
The on duty sergeant promptly responded, took the goat into custody, and transported him to the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. We're sure the Animal Shelter supervisor will be thrilled to find a goat in a dog's crate when she arrives to work!
If you know who owns him, please let them know he's safe at our shelter and will be released from custody upon request. Just give the shelter a call at 707-584-1582.
"I'm sorry we can't do that," says the Barista.
"What!" says the goat. "You don't serve goats?!"
"No, we serve anybody. It's just that you have to say Vente."

Flex alert issued calling for energy conservation today - the California Independent System Operator (ISO) has issued a statewide Flex Alert, a call for voluntary electricity conservation, today from 5-10 p.m.
Energy conservation tips include:
• Set thermostat at 78 degrees or higher and turn off, if away
• Cool with fans and draw drapes
• Turn off unnecessary lights and appliances
• Use major appliances in morning or late evening

Alerta flex emitido llamando a la conservación de energía hoy - el Operador del Sistema Independiente de California (ISO, por sus siglas en inglés) ha emitido una Alerta Flex en todo el estado, un llamado para la conservación voluntaria de electricidad, a partir de hoy a las 5-10 p.m.
