I was born and raised in a poor family in Maine. Life was often a struggle but we made it through the tough times. Today I am continuing to climb out from that world and am now working to bring positive change to the world.

In February of 2014 I came out as transgender and took up the torch of activist. I traveled the state and attacked the issues head on. I have stood beside some amazing people and they inspired me to be where I am today.

I will always fight for the rights of every person, we are all human and deserve to be safe and protected. No one should fear for their rights because of who they love, the color of their skin or their gender identity.
