For Public Purity was created as an effort to make life more accommodating for Muslims in the UK by tackling an issue that is rarely discussed: the presence of dogs in the public sphere. The holy Quran specifically addresses the issue of dogs, declaring them impure and unclean. For this reason, we believe that in order to comply with our Muslim beliefs and values, limitations on the presence of dogs in the public sphere must be imposed.
