This poll reflects what we have been hearing frequently.. Western Canadians say they're not respected by the federal government, treated unfairly, and that this has been getting worse, not better, over the years.
This is not a good sign for our nation. We need the federal government to listen earnestly to concerns of the West and take them seriously.

Last week, our government introduced legislation to protect residents and businesses from scrap metal and auto theft.
The new legislation requires scrap metal dealers to obtain and record information and transaction information from their client which can then be transmitted to police services - similar to a pawn transaction.
