Regarding the speed cap. I understand and support the reasoning for it (not wanting people to play while driving), but could you tweak it a bit? When I'm out for a jog and using my GO Plus, it only gets about half the stops now, and I don't run that fast! But EVERY pokemon still comes up. So I'm burning through balls at a ridiculous rate and have to stop my run just to refill balls.

If the cap is where you feel it must be, could we go back to the increased amount of yield from the pokestops?

The new radar you recently put out is terrible, we have two pokestops near our house but not near enough to walk to. We live in a condo complex and when we looked at the radar, we new what was outside, not where, we still had to hunt but now we have no idea of what is outside because everything we click on tells us it at one of the two pokestops. Everytime we go for a walk things pop up that are never on the radar. Today, I caught a Gloom but it wasn't on the radar and yesterday I caught an Exeggute, also not on the radar. Please put back the old radar.

Now fix all the Network Error bugs when we are fighting in the gyms. At least for me, the whole idea of the game, is to collect, power up, and fight my mons in gyms. I am SICK AND DISGUSTED when you have an error. It hasn't gone unnoticed either, than on every error, the gym's prestige has not changed, but my mon are either fainted or in need of revitalization.

Happy about that... it was easier to take down a gym then to train into one. Io do wish the speed cap would go away for passengers. I think it is more of a driving/traffic hazard slowing down. I wish you could click on the gym icon on a Pokemon, see which gym he is at, and see how many times the gym has been trained at or battled. Let's see some stats on each pokemon- how many times has each been in the gym, how many battles has he won/lost, # of times he has trained etc.

No point of levelling up a gym if ten seconds later someone put it down using fly gps! Here in my city everybody is using since you do nothing about it! Get this another ban wave soon cause it ruins the games for the ones going to the streets!

Now if you could just put my special and favorite Pokémon back to the CP you took away after investing tens of thousands of stardust, translating into hundred of pidgy catches, maybe this previous profit driving customer will think about logging in again.

Cannot load, cannot authenticate login and password support is disable due to 'high demand' - I'm guessing that it isn't just me - been unable to login to game for two hours now despite powering off and on again etc etc

It's simply to far for me to bother anymore there's only two pokesstops within a 6km radius of my place. I use to tap them while on the bus or tram. However my phone battery lasts the whole day again now

I am fine worth speed caps, even though I understand why some people want them removed...but there really needs to be more pokestops outside of bigger cities, so that if you aren't super mobile you have a chance of getting to one within easy distance of anywhere you are, including home

You know what cracks me up about people saying the speed cap is there for safety, have you seen how many people are walking around with their heads down on the game not looking when they cross roads etc and almost get hit because of it, so it's not just people driving and playing the game that are hazards... maybe since they put a speed cap on for the cars safety they should only make pokemon spawn in big fields where people can't WALK yes WALK in front of traffic etc.... and while they're at it fence the people in so they can't WALK out of the boundary and get hurt...... sigh, all the speed cap does is piss people off, makes them drive slow so they can get things which causes accidents anyway (and road rage), if the warnings are in game and people don't listen to them then they're idiots, but those that play by the rules shouldn't be punished for the one's that don't.

Could you please look into making it easier to select Pokemon that show up very close to Poke Stops and gyms? Sometimes I try to touch the Pokemon to capture it but it thinks I'm selecting the stop or gym. This also applies to Poke Stops that are very close to each other.

Thank you! My husband and I discovered this over the weekend and it brought back some excitement to play! Finally don't feel like I'm wasting my time bothering with gyms.

Now please increase max CP & HP for Vernusaur, Blastoise, Charizard & Raichu, they are legendary pokemon. So hard to catch them & evoluting them. They should to be more often see in gym.

I think Niantic has done a great job. People seem to forget how far they have come since only July l! The game hasn't even been out for 6 months and they have made leaps and bounds! They try to keep us updated and update the app as often as possible. This stuff takes time

Now Niantic needs to get rid of the new sightings stupid thing they have got going on. I have stopped playing it's just ridiculous

Same as I seem to just be noticing it's the same crap over and over. Pigeys rattatas weedles and spearows evees and the odd of something new.
I think this is the stupidest thing Niantic has done and until the sightings go back to the way they were I no longer like this game and done playing for now until it gets changed

Please add the ability to switch between actual nearby Pokémon and the Pokémon that are nearby PokéStops. I really don't care that a Pidgey is at a PokéStop a half mile away when a Snorlax is down the block.

Speed caps in a northern country like Canada doesn't mesh. I say remove them or get waiver. Someone may sue for frost bite. Lol. Thanks for the fix at the gyms, though ! Keep up the good work.

To all who complain about the speed limit on every post. It is up to the game developer to decide how they think the game should be experienced. If this game doesn't work for you there are plenty of other games to enjoy. A single game is not "for everyone" as some of you stated. Some game suit you and some may not. Choose a game that you can enjoy instead of one that obviously cause irritation and frustration in your life.

Or wait until "Pokemon Drive-by" is released. 😉

But seriously, I saw a lot of people playing pokemon go while driving in the beginning. If I could stop a single pokemon go driver from playing by stop playing on the train to work I would. I choose to play Pokemon Go when I have the opportunity and play other games when I am a passenger (and NO games at all while driving).

As it should be, thank you! This is a nice and needed change for gym battlers.
Now please, you must implement a way to toggle between sightings and nearby, a full page of each, so that users can choose to play in the way it works for them where they are. The way the "tracker" works now completely breaks the Pokémon hunting aspect of the game. Right now we have wandering blindly and Pokémon finding, or Pokestop scanning. Nothing about the current system includes systematically hunting for Pokémon.

I like the speed cap because I understand fully that this game was designed to get out and exercise, not drive and use public transportation. That said, I get speed capped even when I'm riding my bike around campus, which is a royal pain because that's the only way I get between classes

I'll actually start leveling up gyms to help the team out again, niantic seems like they are starting to listen to their player base. But, they will not release the speed cap, it's too much of a liability.

Glad to see you all doing something good with the game for once. As someone with a background in tech, a degree in programming, and a job in my field, you could do A LOT more with the game. You seem to be skating by on the general ignorance of the public not knowing that the changes you are making are simple changes in values and code. Stop resting on your Ingress pseudo success and work to improve GO.

Lately I have been getting kicked out of gyms due to an error when battling them. It won't let me start over and I waste all my revives and potions for nothing because I can't continue to delevel the gym. Any word on when this may be fixed?

In Pokemon gyms your avatar should spin around on the podium and when you tap on each avatar you get basic info pop up on the different trainers and the Pokemon themselves like there move set , Pokemon type and so on so we can better match up battles !

I also think as the winter weather is coming, it would be neat to have more indoor-related poke stops and more Pokémon appear indoors whether it's at universities or museums or malls, anything that keeps players involved without being outdoors in winter

I want to know which gym I have once I leave. I forget. Especially when we have 10-15 gyms. Make it so. Oh and an award for keeping a gym for weeks. Sometimes months.

Thank you for listening to your fans lately Niantic! This change is very welcomed and will put gym defending and attacking on an even playing field.

One more step in the right direction, at least imho. Good job on not being afraid to revert a recent change! It's not always easy to admit you went ham on the nerf :)

Niantic thanks for the speed cap! Now all the crazy drivers can stop getting into accidents. If you don't like it, adapt. Park by where the stops are and collect. Leave a few minutes early for work or be a few minutes late home. They won't get rid of it and I think it's brilliant. One more step to keeping my family safe on the road.
