The scariest part was Armin van Buuren `s worried face and tremble in his voice. Before his words, I thought Paul just fell and maybe was unable to walk up the stage to continue the show, then watching Armin`s statement made me scaried and something serious happened. I hope Paul Van Dyk will recover very soon and come back to lighten up trance scene again. Praying for you Paul Van Dyk!

My sister was talking to a guy coming to the Utrecht show flying in from French Polynesia to see Paul for 5 minutes....

A fall from that height is quite scary and painfull. I saw a clip of it happening on shownieuws. Paul, I hope for you, and your family that you will make a good recovery, so that you are able to make music again :).

We love you, Paul, and our thoughts are with you! It was an unbeliavable set on Friday in Brno and then such a tragedy on Saturday... :( Get well soon!

When Paul van Dyk fell from the Main Stage at the State of Trance Festival in Utrecht it was especially sad and difficult for those of us who were listening or watching. Paul had brought our emotions to a super-high level with his hard-hitting, high energy, uplifting trance when he himself was suddenly struck with a tragic fall. Watching his set you couldn’t really tell he had fallen – his music continued to play, and the lighting in the video feed made it very difficult to discern much of anything. But you knew that something was wrong because the broadcast soon switched away from the Main Stage and did not go back. Eventually Armin came on to say that Paul had fallen and had been taken to the hospital. For emotions to go from such a supreme high to such a heartbreaking low is very difficult. I have such sadness and tears for Paul, Paul’s family, Armin as host, and for myself and my fellow trance lovers. All of us are brought to a whole other plane of happiness and existence when we disappear into the music that Paul so tastefully chooses and plays. This tragedy strikes not just at Paul and his family but also at the the very life blood of what we trance lovers draw on to enlighten and uplift our own lives. All hope and good wishes go out to Paul and his family as the trance world waits to learn more of his condition.

Thinking of you Paul, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you back on your feet and feeling better. Could of been a lot worse no fall is fortunate but your still here, which is everything, big love Paul. All the best for your recovery and you getting back home to your family, and trance family. Love ya Paul.

Oh this is awful. I love Paul, used to see him in the late 90's at ultra Vegas where I worked. Nicest thing he did for me was have me in the djbooth after looking after his mum in the Vip bar at New Years. Never forget that feeling he gives people. Speedy recovery Paul xxxx

To the people making little jokes and snippy comments, this is not the time or place. That fall could have easily been fatal and Paul is likely in much worse shape than any of us want to believe :(
