About The Orwell Foundation
The Orwell Foundation is an independent charity which aims to reach all audiences for whom George Orwell's writing is an inspiration. Each year, the Foundation awards the prestigious Orwell Prizes for books and journalism culminating in the annual Orwell Festival of political writing in Bloomsbury, London. For young people, the Foundation's Orwell Youth Prize is a unique writing prize which offers personalised feedback, as well as free resources and inspirational workshops across the UK.
