Pretty bummed by the new Netflix doc Reversing Roe. They interviewed me for HOOOOURS, followed me around the March for Life, and even met up with us at the Women’ March the year we were removed as sponsors. They had a shot at a pretty cool story, but cut all of that. Along with a handful of other female prolife leader’s voices. 😔
Which sucks, because Annie and Ricki and their crew were hella cool and I felt like they really got what we were doing with the whole Consistent Life Ethic. (Plus, they bought my daughter a street pretzel bc the vendor only took cash and I only had a card. And if ya feed my kid I consider ya fam. 😂)
But oh well, we didn’t fit their narrative this time around I guess. Too bad.

Netflix’s ‘Reversing Roe' Doc Cut Days of Footage with Pro-Life Women
We had so many amazing conversations with K. at the shelter in Juárez. This short little statement blew my mind tho. It really reflects her “two heartbeats” belief.
Two heartbeats exist at the border - the heartbeat of the migrant and the US citizen. Both valuable, both worthy of safety and protection. And there are also two heartbeats when it comes to pregnancy - that of the woman and the unborn child. Again, both valuable, both worthy of safety and protection.
Excuses can’t be made to disregard and dehumanize either.
Hey friends! A lot of y’all have asked if the shelter in Juárez needs anything. Here is the current list. They could really use some diapers and folic acid, and we added some space heaters since it’s getting really cold there. They’ve moved everyone into one room to conserve heat, so those would REALLY help!
