Mt. Diablo Business Women originated in 1994, after breaking off from a national business women's group. Many of the original MDBW members felt that a locally-based group could more effectively address their needs for strengthening business relationships and building referral networks.
With hard work and continued outreach to the local business community, MDBW grew to well over 50 members. As membership grew, so did business relationships and referrals.
Many founding members continue to be involved today, because they know the value of the group and that building relationships, builds business.
