Who is Uri?

Uri Baruchin is an award-winning creative strategist with over 20 years of industry experience.
Starting his career in the early days of the Tel Aviv digital scene, where he gained experience in content development, UX and product strategy, he then worked in some of the world’s leading brand consultancies, including Siegel & Gale, Landor and as Head of Strategy in acclaimed brand agency The Partners in the years leading to the Superunion merger.

Uri has worked with blue-chip clients such as Nestle and Sony as well as smaller brands and start-ups across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Frequently a ‘strategist to the strategists’, he has worked with clients such as Deloitte, Kantar, and Bain & Company on both their positioning, service propositions and portfolio/brand architecture. Since departing WPP, he’s been running a boutique consultancy and collaborating with selected agencies, working on strategic programmes and campaigns for B2C and B2B.

As a strategy mentor, Uri specialises in developing a strategic mindset across the organisation and introducing strategy to ‘non-strategists’. He taught strategy to MA design students at the London College of Communication, University of Arts London; and is the strategy mentor for the young creative talent at the School of Communication Arts, the world’s most award-winning advertising school. He has developed and facilitated the D&AD’s new strategy masterclass which he has taken to Accenture, Sony, The Orchard, and Havas Lynx, amongst others.
