Lone Star Saber Academy (LSSA) is an all-volunteer theatrical stage saber combat group that exists to create experiences for the community where passion and purpose come together through our love of Star Wars. LSSA is not a business, but classifies itself as a "community service organization" where everything we do is to benefit the Central Texas/Round Rock community.
LSSA members learn and teach the "Jedi" martial arts and then use these skills to give back to the local community. We do this through performance entertainment, public and charitable events, and private appearances, while honoring the core values of the Jedi.
Any monetary donations or fees for services received are given to local Central Texas charities supported by the Lone Star Saber Academy. The public is encouraged to attend any of our weekly open practices held at 7pm at the Round Rock Amphitheater outside the Baca Senior Center. As a member of Round Rock Arts and Culture, you can also see us at many annual events hosted by the City of Round Rock throughout the year, such as Fourth of July Parade, Back 2 School, Chalk Walk, and Trunk r Treat.
