What the Kids Adventure Games™ creates is an exceptional kid’s event with far reaching, lifelong lessons.
The 'Kids Adventure Games' was created to introduce kids ages six to 14 to the wilderness in a fun, safe environment while instilling the principles of teamwork, perseverance and environmental stewardship.
The Kids Adventure Games will feature optional skills clinics for participants taught by local experts, one day of racing with a shorter course for younger and less experienced athletes and a longer course for older, more seasoned adventure racers.
About Kids Adventure Games (KAG): The Vail Kids Adventure Games was founded in 2009 by Hélène and Billy Mattison and co-produced with the Vail Recreation District. In 2013, after four successful summer events, IMG Worldwide and NRG Marketing joined forces with KAG to expand the concept to a national platform.
