I taught English abroad in Italy starting the end of January. Things went south due to COVID mid-March. I understand that things werent their fault, but all they offered was a flimsy email saying to leave the… More country because the program was canceled. Everything was left to us on our own to find a flight, and basically just leave because they said it was over. Literally zero compensation or support.
Months later, and they said that we could return as a student buddy so we could finish our program, again because we were forced to spend so much on returning flights and we didn’t get our money’s worth on the program.
