Just got done watching it for the first time, was a slow at the begining but I expected that, overall I really enjoyed it. So much better then that crappy Godzilla from '98 with Matthew Brodrick

Of all the Godzilla movies, I would consider this movie a true reboot because the older "reboots" were nothing more than sequels to the original movie. Another thing is that most, if not all, Godzilla movie would often mention the Oxygen Destroyer which was the first, and in many ways, the only weapon to kill Godzilla. However in the new movie and its universe, the Oxygen Destroyer does not exist. Finally, in all the Japanese Godzilla movies, Godzilla has always been the product of nuclear tests in the Pacific. However in the new movie, Godzilla has always been Godzilla since prehistory and those nuclear tests were attempts to kill him which of course failed.
