For you to call out the NRA and "every hack"? Describe "hack". Maybe we should call out every "Hack" who donates to Planned Parenthood because they kill babies! You admitted that you have given money to the NRA, maybe you are a hack. Everytime you have been told that the shooter got his guns legally, you ignore that fact and keep on talking about more gun laws. Geez, Geraldo, use common sense. I have purchased many guns, it is not easy to purchase a handgun. People with a criminal past cannot purchase guns legally now! So what does the law do? It makes it harder for us "good guys" to get guns and nothing to stop the criminals. Criminals are who they are no matter what weapon they use and NO LAW WILL PREVENT THAT!

Could the President be afflicted by some kind of freaky fetish? He seems to revel in the slaughter of American citizens... just look how he panders to the anti-gun crowd claiming sympathy for gun violence victims. Yet the simple defunding of Planned Parenthood, which would save millions of lives, continues to elude him.

Possibly the President suffers from a guilty conscience, after all, it was his "Fast and Furious" Justice Department which sold hundreds and hundreds of assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels, which were then used in the murders of untold numbers of Mexican citizens, and US Boarder Patrol Agent, Brian Terry. Neither Mr. Obama nor his obsequious AG Eric Holder were ever held to account. Guilt may be why he continues to push for the insanity of gun-control.

Maybe the President is simply a hardcore anti-colonialist-Marxist, who hates America and would see this nation humbled, impoverished and disarmed. The American people to be forced by any means to submit to the constitution crushing, radically leftist government that Mr. Obama believes we, as he sees us, weak, pampered, American sheep, deserve? -J.

How about doing something about mental illness? Obama made his impassioned speech about gun control without even knowing all the facts of this tragedy. But, that's his mo...speak before thinking, and divide the country even more. There are about 270 million guns in the US, and about 61 mass killings have occurred in the last 3 decades. So, out of all the gun owners in the US, 61 mentally ill people have committed mass murders, and you want to make it harder for responsible citizens to protect themselves? Not going to happen. We are not that stupid.

So we attack the guns while a stupid Terrorist murders our kids!! You take the cake for Stupid Man. We ought to be teaching our kids how to use them to protect themselves from idiots like the Terrorist that attacked them. I wish you could go back and talk to our forefathers and you would find out wny they knew the 2nd ammendment was the guarentee to keep all of them. You are rediculous. The President uses these killings to push his skewed liberal agenda. And you are there helping it along. Your harsh statement of Our Constitution only solidifies my views of you. And they are not favorable.

And once again we focus on the wrong thing. We need to stop with this gun control nonsense. It's pointless! The only way gun control will work is to eliminate ALL guns. Every single one. However, this will NEVER happen because it's our constitutional right to own guns and yet that's not what makes it pointless. Even if we eliminate all guns shootings will still happen because criminals will find a way to get guns. So what we will end up doing is disarming law abiding citizens and stomping all over their right to own guns.

With this latest shooting it's obvious what the liberals gun control will result in. More mass shootings! This was a gun free zone. Gun control at its finest resulted in none of the victims carrying a gun to fight back. What would have happened if after the first victim was shot the other 8 pulled out their concealed guns and opened fire on this guy? Just something to think about.

We need to spend less time on how these acts of violence happen and more time understanding why they happen.

What is the root cause motivating these individuals to do this? Is it mental illness? Go beyond the surface reasons such as race or religion. We need to understand how someone arrives at a state of mind where they will pick up a weapon, if it's not a gun it will be a bomb or some other weapon and kill innocent people.

This is the discussions we need to be having.

The President's ire regarding the deaths in Oregon is disingenuous at best, as President Obama ignores black-on-black crime in his own hometown and actively supports abortion and infanticide. A nation that does not respect and honor life by condoning the slaughter of its' own innocent babies, is doomed to fail. It is a heart problem caused by sin that is at the root of our problems. Hey Geraldo Rivera, Why doesn't the president mention the people killed in his city of Chicago every day? The same area that he was a community activist in? I will tell you why. I think that so many things they have tried to do have met with such resistance. I live in Arizona and it frightens me to see people wit guns strapped to them. Ask them why and before they call you every name in the book they will tell you, "It's my constitutional right" and if you question why anyone needs an assault weapon, you receive the same reply "It's my constitutional right" They view every attempt at not limiting law abiding citizens but only those who should not open guns, as a threat to their gun ownership and their "right" to bear arms. There doesn't seem to be any logical argument that they will even listen to, let alone consider. It's difficult for any leader to convince people whose nonsensical argument is that everyone should be armed and it wouldn't happen.
