If you really want people to be feed, donate land and teach people to grow organic food as well as cook ,put it up and work. together handouts of industrial food might fill a belly but is not the solution.

Wouldnt it be awesome if rhe government would stop forcing schools and businesses to throw food in the trash and let it be given to people in need.

I truly would love nothing more than to have everyone in this country to be fed. However there should be know hunger in this country if we have enough money to feed and house people coming in illegally. OUR CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY SHOULD COME FIRST.

We are going to need this program to grow exponentially with the cuts to nutrition programs and food stamps and assistance for people in need. 😳

Better that Americans sit and starve rather than lower themselves to get their hands dirty to grow and prepare it themselves. The welfare program is just a way to make global food companies rich after eliminating all small farming, gardening, food preservation, and cooking.

To all of you with such caustic negative comments- have you never known a child hungry? Some parents work two jobs, usually part time because that's what's available. (Which means no or limited insurance, sick time or vacation.) Sometimes working folks need a hand up. You may find yourself there one day. If you don't feel the need then don't contribute. Simple as that.

"Love thy neighbor" encompasses making food available for those who are in need. Compassion should be bi-partisan.
