Due to staff absence levels related to the mass administration of the COVID vaccine on Saturday, Chardon Schools will be closed on Monday, March 8, 2021. We regret that we are unable to cover the number of staff absences we are experiencing and believe that this closure is in the interest of student safety. Well wishes to all.

Thank you for your question. Yes. We were experiencing a substantial number of reported absences for Monday as a result of staff members experiencing what we know to be are anticipated side effects of the vaccine. The administration of vaccine #2 occurred on Saturday.
