Continuing our “Meet Your Police Department Campaign”, with the purpose of introducing to you our staff, so our community that we serve will get to know us better, today we introduce to you Officer Lewis Dueñas.
Officer Dueñas was raised in Ridgefield Park NJ. He is a graduate of John Jay College, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. Prior to joining the Bogota Police Department in 2018, he began his career with NJ State Park Police. Officer Dueñas is currently in our Patrol Division where he greatly assists many of our residents being bilingual in Spanish and has brought several years of training and experience to our town. Officer Dueñas is very approachable and always likes meeting new people throughout town. Today, Officer Dueñas along with many officers from Bergen County rolled in deep to South Toms River to deliver gifts and patches to Sophia Colavito, a 4 year old girl battling cancer. Sophia’s wish to get patches is now worldwide🌎. We stand behind Sophia and wish her a speedy recovery. To all the agencies involved today, BRAVO!!
