In response to statements by several politicians promoting discriminating against refugees and others based on religious discrimination, a group of Bainbridge Island citizens organized a candlelight vigil at the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial. Over 200 citizens attended and several city and state representative spoke out in favor of promoting inclusion and tolerance at all levels of public discourse and policy. This page exists to continue working toward that vision.
