Avant Card was established in 1992 with just ten Sydney cafes on board as distribution venues. At that time it was the only freecard media company in Australia and the eighth to be established in the world. Since then more than 70 freecard media companies have been established worldwide. Avant Card now offers a distribution network of more than 1,550 venues across Australia.
Started as a one person enterprise, Avant Card has expanded to become a national company employing more than 30 staff. Over the years it has acquired all 7 of its Australian competitors to maintain its position as the industry leader.
Over the last 20 years Avant Card has stayed relevant to both consumers and marketers by constantly developing both our distribution network and our product range. By introducing a wide variety of venue types we enable clients to target specific markets. We have a full in-house design studio with QR Code technology solutions to ensure that freecard media can be used in new and innovative ways and integrated as part of the entire media mix.
Avant Card’s success comes from its point of difference as an advertising medium: to engage consumers with a superior, tactile and visual dimension.
