Fill in the blank: The No. 1 resource for disaster reduction is ________.
Reg is now live for webinar two in the AidEx and Development2030 series. The session will take place on Tuesday 25th May at 2pm UK time.
The theme for the discussion is: The role of social enterprises in development and gender-advancement – experiences from Colombia and Uganda
Social enterprises could form the backbone of the transition from donation-dependent societies to self-supporting societies; a transition all the more urgently necessary in the context of declining aid and donations, in the current Covid-19 reality.
This webinar will compare and contrast the similarities of needs and solutions in vastly different societies, Colombia and Uganda; and highlight the impacts achievable by enabling people, particularly women, through sustainable social enterprises.
